We are a dedicated group of health care professionals that are passionate about improving the health of people with complications of Covid-19. Based in Guildford, Surrey, we have access to medical consultants from multiple specialties, general practitioners, physiotherapists as well as mental health services. Our multi-disciplinary approach enables us to provide a tailored approach to each individual patient depending on their needs. Between us we have extensive experience in managing patients with Covid-19 and are also actively involved in clinical trials to ensure the most up to date treatments are available.

Long Covid Syndrome: why an MDT approach is essential.
This talk will focus on the complications of Covid-19 and the need for a multidisciplinary approach. As we learn more about the condition, it is apparent that a significant number of Covid-19 patients have ongoing symptoms that can be debilitating and affect their quality of life, so called Long Covid Syndrome. We will discuss the common symptoms found in Long Covid Syndrome, current guidelines, management of Long Covid Syndrome within an MDT, clinical trials and the patient's perspective.

Long Covid: a new disease requiring a new approach
This talk will focus on Long Covid Syndrome and the need for a different approach from the conventional medical model. We will discuss the common symptoms found in Long Covid Syndrome, current guidelines, management of Long Covid Syndrome, clinical trials and the patient's perspective.
Over the last year it is clear that symptoms related to this new disease are complicated and need a specified management plan for each individual patient. Often this requires the input from multiple medical specialists, physiotherapy and other health care professionals. We will discuss our current model of care for Long Covid Syndrome patients and the need to update our practice as we learn more about this condition.
